A good tip is to apply the spray to a cloth then wipe the liquid directly onto the areas affected. Remember to keep reapplying the bitter spray so it doesn't loose its effectiveness. Another good technique is to keep some spare ceramic tiles and lay these against the areas that are under attack. Your bunny may develop a habit of trying to dig up the carpet and similarly you can lay some tiles over these areas. Always provide an array of safe alternatives to distract your bunny, cardboard boxes, tubes, toss toys, wooden blocks can all be effective. Remember to replace these toys new ones to stop them being ignored. Some discipline can be used where appropriate and a water spray can be the best method of making damaging the skirting board a negative experience. Always use the mist setting as squirting can be dangerous.
