However to your bunny they hold no value at all other then an inconvenience and if you leave them unprotected in your home in areas where you bunnies have access to them you can be certain its not going to be long before they become a target for unwanted destructive behaviour. Speaker stands

Speaker stands are also a good way of preventing damage by moving the speakers of the floor and the level of your rabbits attention. Typically made of metal the stands themselves are unlikely to sustain any damage from you Bunny's. Always ensure that you get a good sturdy set of stands that cannot be pushed over if they are banged into, or lent up against. If possible secure your speakers to the stand and the stand to the floor. Lastly check they the cables are also out of reach in case they get tugged on pulling the speakers over.

Floor standing speakers

If you have floor standing speakers then there are some good ways to help prevent damage. Always ensure they have there covers apply some bitter sprays along the edges. This wont stop the odd nibble but will help prevent it becoming a favourite spot for your rabbit to sharpen its teeth. You can also block the speakers off behind some wire fencing. this wont effect there sound quality and will mean they are totally safe.

Cables

The speaker cables can be protected using cables wraps or tidying solutions that can be provided by stationary suppliers and DIY stores. These typically come in the form of flexible split length tubing or coils that can be wrapped around the cables. You can also lead the rest of the cable under your carpet or a rug to make it inaccessible.

Danger warning

It is important for safety reasons that you never use your speakers as a convenient place to leave stuff. Never place ornaments or plants etc. on to of the speaker as these could be knocked of and fall causing harm.
